Fall of the Warlock Kings
The greatest river in Afyon, rising in the White Mountains and passing through the Wild Wood before meeting other rivers at Carnelian, continuing on past the city of Chan where the Tarn River flows into it, and then moving south to the Sea of Stars at Hodon, where the vast mouth of the river pours brownish water into the pale blue sea at a rate great enough to upset all nearby currents, and make the navigators of Hodon enormously skilled at their art. The Cobalt is said to be a very lovely sort of bluish shade in the summer, though as most of the river shares the same muddy condition as the mouth does, there is little evidence of this. Boatmen all up and down the river speak a sort of cant known only to themselves, and almost value the river more than the various nations which used to border it before the coming of the Great King. Now, the entirety of the river and all its feeders are in a single nation, and the boatmen sing joyous songs as they travel from port to port.
