Fall of the Warlock Kings
A small city located on a granite hilltop on the road between Yel Arai and Amara. The city was founded on the remains of an old dwarf hold close to a thousand years ago. It is a walled fortress of sorts, with small farming communities all around it. The name comes from the belief that one of the Seven Dragons died here, forming the hill, which is known to be a falsehood but is still believed by many simpler people. There is a strange rocky protrusion on the north side of the hill, shaped very vaguely like a dragon’s head, which some point to as proof of the legend. Dragon’s Howe is home to a local infantry company, the Hilltop Brigade, comprised of volunteers from the local communities and kept at a strength of three hundred armed warriors, with priestly and magical support as available. The local lord, Baron Howe, rules over much land on behalf of the Dukes in Amara. There is a temple of Tiam located in the city, and a small human district near the smallest of the three gates, on the south wall.
